Fred Giordano Fred Giordano
CEO and President
Fred Giordano is Epok’s CEO and head of sales. He has more than twenty-five years of successful management experience with technology companies such as America Online, Netscape Communications, NeXT, and SMS Data Products Group. Mr. Giordano joined Netscape in 1995 and was instrumental in the company’s growth during its startup phase from ground floor revenue to $500M. He held various management positions during his seven years at Netscape, including several years as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas Division. Netscape had a very successful IPO in August 1995 and was subsequently acquired by America Online in 2000 for approximately 9 billion dollars. Prior Mr. Giordano spent 7 years working with the Steve Jobs startup NeXT, Inc. from ground zero revenue until the sale of the company to Apple Computer in approximately 1993. During his 7 years at SMS Data Products Group, both Mr. Giordano and Mr.Fuster were instrumental in growing the revenues of SMS from a $5M company to 100M plus annually. Both Epok principals were instrumental in closing a $400M contract that spanned 4 years with the US Army worldwide that contributed most of that growth in revenue and people. Fred Giordano has been the President and CEO at Epok, Inc. since September 2004 and was a consultant to the company 6 months leading to that date.


Oscar Fuster Oscar Fuster
CFO and Vice President of Strategic Alliances
Oscar Fuster is Epok’s CFO and Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Mr. Fuster has over 25 years of experience in the information technology field. In addition to working for Electronic Data Systems and SMS Data Products, Mr. Fuster was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer for International Data Products Corp., a personal computer manufacturer that achieved Inc. 500 status both in 1995 and 1996 prior to being sold for approximately $25M in 1998 after fourteen years of serving its federal and commercial customers. During his 5 years at SMS Data Products Group, Mr.Fuster and Mr. Giordano were instrumental in growing the revenues of SMS from a $5M company to 100M plus annually. Both Epok principals were instrumental in closing a $400M contract that spanned 4 years with the US Army worldwide that contributed most of that growth in revenue and people. Prior to joining Epok, Inc. Mr. Fuster was the Vice President of Business Development at IGov a larger Systems Integration firm in McLean, VA where he helped significantly grow their DoD client base. Oscar Fuster has been a partner, CFO and head of Strategic Alliances over the past four years at Epok, Inc. and has been integral to closing many of our largest clients including the US Air Force Material Command and Dell.

Lance Hood Lance Hood
Vice President of Product Marketing and Services
Lance Hood is Epok’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Services. He is tasked with guiding product direction as well as supporting our customers. Mr. Hood led the effort to define, specify, develop and launch the Epok Edition for Microsoft SharePoint. Since then he has led the ongoing marketing of Epok’s market leading products. Before joining Epok, Inc., he was Vice President of Products at OneName, Inc., where he led the development of products that pioneered the digital identity market category. He led definition and development of a web-service based identity management product that was adopted by customers such as Visa International, ING and MetLife. Prior to OneName, Mr. Hood was Vice President of Product Marketing and Development for Health Systems Technologies (HST), a maker of Internet-based managed care software. Before joining HST, Mr. Hood was a general manager at Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL)/Phillips Medical Systems, where he oversaw the creation of an Internet-based medical image management system. This system became the market share leader in ultrasound image management and was acquired by Kodak. Prior to this role, Mr. Hood held a variety of marketing and strategy positions at ATL. He has an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and a BA in Marketing from the University of Puget Sound.
